WHAT ARE COOKIES?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer that contains information. For purely technical reasons, cookies are used for the operation of the website, such as navigation and the processing of forms.

TWO TYPES OF COOKIES

There are two different types of cookies – permanent cookies and temporary cookies (so-called session cookies). A permanent cookie is stored on a user’s computer for a specified period of time, while a temporary cookie is retained only until the web browser is closed.

PERMANENT COOKIES

Permanent cookies are used, for example, because the website can be customized according to your preferences. This way, you don’t have to set the website to your liking every time you visit the page.

TEMPORARY COOKIES (SESSION COOKIES)

Session cookies are used, for example, to process login information, navigate pages, shopping carts, etc.
